"Cracking Day Gromit!" Animate Preston Officially Opened by Nick Park

We had an amazing time yesterday at the official opening of Animate in Preston, designed and delivered by Leach Rhodes Walker Architects.
It was an honour to have the legendary Preston-born film director and creator of ‘Wallace and Gromit’, Nick Park CBE, officially open the development with the unveiling of a new bronze statue of ‘Feather McGraw’! After a Q&A session in the auditoria he then cut the ribbon to open the brand-new Arc Cinema where we had a screening of his latest film, ‘A Vengeance Most Foul’!
It’s incredibly rewarding to see the project come to life after all the teams hard work. Credit must go to Eric Wright, Maple Grove, and the City of Preston for committing and delivering this development which will undoubtedly be a vibrant addition to the city, encouraging longer use of the City Centre. It’s already making a real impact on the area, and we can’t wait to see it as a further catalyst to the growth and regeneration of the City.
